Stacking Modalities: The Ultimate Recovery Protocol
By Jon Nasta
One of the biggest mistakes I see people make with recovery is treating it like an a la carte menu. They'll do cryotherapy one week, maybe try red light the next.
They get benefits, sure. But they are leaving so much on the table.
The real power of an RNR lounge is the ability to 'stack' modalities. When you combine these technologies in the right sequence, 1 + 1 doesn't equal 2. It equals 5.
The Fire and Ice Protocol
My personal favorite is what we call the Fire and Ice protocol. You start with 3 minutes in the e°CABIN cryo chamber. This triggers intense vasoconstriction, driving blood to the core and flooding it with oxygen and enzymes.
Immediately after, you move to the red light therapy bed. As the body warms up, vasodilation occurs, flushing that super-oxygenated, nutrient-rich blood back out to the extremities and skin, while the LEDs stimulate cellular energy.
The physical sensation is incredible, and the physiological response is massive.
Creating Habits
This is why the membership model is so crucial. When members can access the full suite of CTN technology under one roof, they stop treating recovery as a rare treat and start treating it as a protocol.
They stack treatments, they see exponential results, and they never leave.
